Overview

Claude Apps bring AI capabilities directly into the tools your team already uses. Claude for Slack answers questions and summarizes threads. Claude for Figma helps designers with layout suggestions. Claude for Asana automates task management. These aren't MCP servers — they're standalone Anthropic integrations that work without Claude Code.

Current Progress

• Claude for Slack evaluated but not yet deployed
• Figma MCP used instead of Claude for Figma app

Areas of Improvement

• Claude for Slack not installed — team still uses manual messages
• Claude for Asana not explored — could automate task management
• Need to evaluate which apps add value vs. MCP overlap
• Anthropic keeps adding new app integrations — check monthly

Setup

1. Install Claude app from the marketplace of each platform
2. Authorize with your Anthropic organization account
3. Configure channel/project access permissions
4. Set up team-specific workflows and triggers

Usage

• Slack — @claude to answer questions, summarize threads
• Figma — Generate layouts, suggest design improvements
• Asana — Automate task creation, status updates
• Each app works independently of Claude Code
